2ND ROUND OF THE TEAM COMPETITION - 1ST VICTORY!

We kept both children and parents busy with tennis the next weekend!

It's nice, so let's go play tennis! Well, the first time I opened my eyes at 6:30 in the morning certainly didn't confirm this statement. It wasn't nice, but that didn't mean there wasn't any playing. However, I immediately received a text message from two parents asking if we were really going.. And we were...

Today, our children again started for three different clubs, we ourselves, for Beachclub Strahov, the tennis club, were the home team, the organizer of the 2nd round of mixed baby tennis teams.

We played in Chittussiho, on the courts where mainly children from the Ema Destinnová Elementary School train. We all got together and for the match against the oldest Czech club and still one of the best clubs in the Czech Republic, I. ČLTK Prague, we were a complete team. Today, in the sunshine, we were represented by: Lukáš Pavelka - number one, Jan Čanecký - number two, Ráchel Houdová - number three and the youngest Max Eismann started at number four.

At the number one position, Lukáš entered the match with full commitment and determination to win. Veni, vidi, vici. It was successful, congratulations Lukáš!... At number two, Honzík entered the first match of his life. It was clear that Honzík was focusing more on counting, which he encountered for the first time, than on the match itself. But it was certainly a good experience, thanks to Honzík for representing the club! We then waited for the opponent, at number three, Ráchel played outside the competition with the number one player of the ČLTK Josefínka, who had already finished with Lukášek. Ráchel was leading 4:3, but the right opponent arrived. Ráchel started from scratch in a new match. I think that the opponent at number three was the best player of the day, but Ráchel did not lose to zero and held on bravely. But the boy could already lift and Ráchel sometimes could not reach the balls. Maxík entered the number four as the last. Here too, the opponent was beyond our strength, but I saw that Maxík could already count tennis fifteens...

At the end, two doubles matches were played. Here too, the opposing players were more successful. The overall result of 1:5 corresponds to the current balance of forces. Thank you once again to all the players and I believe that the children will continue to have the desire and joy of playing until next time!!! :)
